Netflix is Now on Google Nest Hub Devices

Google announced Netflix is rolling out to all Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max devices globally. That means you can now watch your favorite Netflix shows right on your Google Nest Hub device.

The Nest Hub and Hub Max are designed to make it easy to stream video hands-free, and marketing is focused on placing your device in high traffic areas like your kitchen where you’re hands are often tied up doing other things. If you have a Netflix subscription, you can now link it to your account in the Google Home or Assistant app to stream Netflix movies, shows and documentaries using your voice. just say “Hey Google, open Netflix,” to start scrolling the library. Or if you know what you want to watch, just say “Hey Google, play (the name of your show).”

You can pause, skip or play by asking Google as well, and if you have a Nest Hub Max, the Quick Gestures feature lets you use quick movement to pause and resume your video, just look at the device and raise your hand.

Netflix is the latest streaming service to roll out on Google Nest Hub and Hub Max. Hulu, CBS All Access and SLING TV are all available on the devices. You can cast video from any streaming service app that has casting support, like Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, SHOWTIME, and now NBC’s Peacock which launched July 15.
