There was one major issue with the Verizon Stream TV box – there was no Netflix support. While Stream TV users could access apps including Disney+, YouTube TV, HBO, and Starz, the lack of Netflix support was a flaw pointed out by reviewers and consumers.
Now, Android TV Guide has found that a Netflix certification has been added. The addition was spotted on a Netflix help page, now showing Stream TV as a supported device.
At launch, the @Verizon Stream TV had one glaring omission, which was the absence of a @Netflix certification.
