Netflix is Now Available on the Verizon Stream TV Device

Verizon logoVerizon launched the Stream TV box in November 2019. The box was made available for free to 5G Home subscribers, and $69.99 for additional boxes, allowing users to stream shows and movies with 4K UHD compatibility. The device comes with a Google Assistant voice remote. With a built-in Chromecast, users can stream videos, pictures, and music from their phones to their TV.

There was one major issue with the Verizon Stream TV box – there was no Netflix support. While Stream TV users could access apps including Disney+, YouTube TV, HBO, and Starz, the lack of Netflix support was a flaw pointed out by reviewers and consumers.

Now, Android TV Guide has found that a Netflix certification has been added. The addition was spotted on a Netflix help page, now showing Stream TV as a supported device.

If you’re a Verizon customer with the Verizon Stream TV device, check out the Netflix Help Center for instructions for setting up Netflix and using the streaming service on your device.
