Netflix Gave a Sneak Peek of the ‘Stranger Things 4’ Table Read

Stranger things 4Netflix wants to remind us all that Stranger Things 4 is indeed currently in the works. In a video posted by the streaming services official YouTube account, we see a behind the door look at the first table read of the script.

“We went to the Stranger Things 4 Table Read and left the door open 3 inches so you could get a peek. Stranger Things 4 now in production.” The video caption says.

One of the first shots in the video after Caleb Mcloughlin (aka “Lucas”) leaves the door open for us confirms again that Hopper will be in the new season, despite his seemingly tragic death in season 3. In the video, shot in nostalgic camcorder fashion true to the 1980s theme, we can see David Harbour who plays Chief Hopper in the show greeting Finn Wolfard (Mike), as well as his name place at the table reading.

There’s no official release date for season 4 yet, but some theories speculate it could be as soon as next month in April 2020.
