Let the games begin! Netflix announced today that Netflix Games will roll out tomorrow with 5 mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop).

Netflix Gaming is ad-free, and there aren’t any in-app purchases. As we’ve previously reported, the service is available to subscribers for no additional cost and all 5 games will be available to play, if you’re a Netflix subscriber with an Android device. Details of the new service are listed below.

How to Play: The mobile games are currently available on Android devices. For Android mobile phones, once you log in to the Netflix app, go to the games tab and select any game to download. Members on an Android tablet will see a dedicated games row or be able to select games from the categories drop-down menu to download and play.

Gaming for Everyone: The mobile games are available in many of the languages that are offered on Netflix’s service, so your games will automatically default to the preference set in your profile. If your language is not yet available, games will default to English.

Available for Evey Profile: Members will be able to play games on multiple mobile devices on the same account. If you hit your device limit— Netflix will notify you and, if needed, you can sign out of devices, not in use or deactivate them remotely on Netflix.com to free up a slot.

Child Safety Features: Netflix Gaming is adult-only, which means the games are not available on kids’ profiles. If you’ve set up a PIN to prevent kids from having access to adult profiles, that same PIN will be required in order to log in to Netflix and play the game on a device.

Play Anywhere: An internet connection will not be required for all games, some titles will be available to play offline, which is perfect for long trips or areas with poor Wi-Fi.

Netflix has plans to expand its selection of games and its mobile gaming experience as a whole over the next few months. The company has plans to make their games for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a lifelong gamer.
