Netflix is coming out of the huddle with a bigger NFL playbook for 2026. For the upcoming season, the streamer has added more games, including more holiday matchups and NFL Honors, to its live sports slate, giving football fans another reason to add it to their starting lineup.

This season, Netflix is home to a couple of firsts in the NFL’s rich 107-year history. American football goes to the Land Down Under for a Week 1 contest, with Netflix streaming the first-ever regular-season game in Australia. Live from the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday, September 10, the Los Angeles Rams will take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Netflix is also leaning hard into the holiday calendar and will stream the NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game on Wednesday, November 25. The Los Angeles Rams return to the streamer, hosting the Green Bay Packers at SoFi Stadium in the pre-Turkey Day NFC matchup. Then, for the third consecutive season, the streamer will host a Christmas Day matchup. The December 25th tradition continues with a doubleheader featuring the Packers at Bears, followed by Bills at Broncos. And just when the regular season is getting down to the wire, Netflix will also air a Week 18 game on Saturday, January 9. The streamer’s pro football coverage will cap off the following month during Super Bowl Week with NFL Honors 2027.

Under Netflix and the NFL’s four-year partnership extension through the 2029-2030 season, the world’s largest video streaming platform is staying on the field from kickoff all the way to the award ceremony. Fans can now enjoy a Week 1 game, a Thanksgiving Eve matchup, a Christmas Day game, a Week 18 regular-season finale, and the NFL Honors ceremony on the platform.
