This week it is Dragon Media Inc., the company behind the Dragon Box device. This device is an Android-powered streaming player that uses third-party Kodi add-ons to stream content to subscribers for free after you buy the box.
The Dragon Box website proudly proclaims “No Monthly Bills. No Entertainment Costs” and goes on to say “One Box. Thousands of Channels” and ends with “Watch Your Favorites Any Time For Free.”
The Dragon Box Plus with one-year subscription now on their website costs $629.99, or you can get the standard box for $349.99.
According to the lawsuit, Dragon Box has “over 250,000 customers in 50 states and 4 countries and growing” and “374 sellers” across the world.
These lawsuits have been going on around the world for some time now. In the United States these lawsuits got started last year when a host of Hollywood studios sued the makers of the TickBox.
None of these lawsuits have a court ruling in the United States. Expect the first of these cases to be settled or have a court ruling at some point in 2018.
