NBCUniversal Launches Hub on Roku for Easy Access to Tokyo 2020 Olympics Coverage

NBCUniversal and Roku have announced a partnership to bring an all-new immersive experience for viewers to watch the 2020 Olympics on the Roku platform. Now through August 8, NBCUniversal will have an Olympics hub with games coverage and Olympics-related entertainment on supported Roku devices and Roku TVs. Roku viewers can access NBCU’s 5,500 hours of in-depth Summer Olympics coverage right from their home screen.

Starting July 20, Roku Users will see a dedicated 2020 Tokyo Olympics experience on the left-side menu of the home screen. Features include a countdown clock ahead of the opening ceremony, which will be replaced by a medal tracker once the games begin. You can also watch a short informational video on how to get started streaming Olympic-related content on Roku.

In addition to Roku, viewers will be able to stream free daily highlights, get easy access to live shows, condensed replays and highlights for free through Peacock. Users can watch live events through NBC Sports.
