NBC Is Launching a New Sports Streaming Service Starting With the Premier League

NBC is once again expanding its direct-to-consumer live streaming options. Starting in August NBCUniversal will offer an NBC Gold $49.99 Premier League Pass streaming service. With this package you will get access to 130 live matches from the Premier League during the 2017–2018 season.

“We are excited to broaden our offerings for passionate Premier League fans, featuring more content than ever at their fingertips, with approximately 20 weekly hours of live matches, studio shows, highlights, and replays,” said Rick Cordella, executive vice president and general manager for Digital Media, NBC Sports Group in a statement. NBC Sports Gold has experienced tremendous growth since its launch last year and we look forward to providing Premier League viewers with this rich content-fueled experience.”

Now this is in addition to the 250 Premier League matches that will air across NBC, NBCSN, and CNBC. So this will be more of an add-on for fans of the Premier League. You can get access to many of these channels with Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, PlayStation Vue, and More.

Subscribers to the service will be able to access their content on phones, tablets, and connected TV devices that support the NBC Sports app.
