Movie Anywhere Reminds Subscribers to Agree to Privacy Policy to Avoid Service Interruption

Movies Anywhere is sending out emails, reminding subscribers to renew their Video Data consent and update digital retailer connections within the app to avoid interruption of the service.

There are a couple different versions of the notice being sent out, but if you’re a Movies Anywhere subscriber, you should be getting a message similar to this.

We’re sending this reminder to let you know that your Movies Anywhere Video Data sharing consent expires in 30 days.

It’s important to renew now so that your account stays current. If you let your consent expire, newly purchased movies will not flow into and out of your Movies Anywhere account.

To help you avoid any interruption of your Movies Anywhere service, we also encourage you to update your connections to your digital retailers.

It’s easy, and just takes a moment to complete.

Video Data consent is a fairly simple part of the Movies Anywhere Privacy Policy. It says that the service can share information about the titles and descriptions of videos in your Movies Anywhere collection with digital retailers, participating studios, and service providers. You read the entire section in the Movies Anywhere Privacy Policy.

Renewing your consent is quick and easy. If you’re a Movies Anywhere user, just go to your account and complete the process with a few clicks to ensure that you have uninterrupted access to your digital video library.
