Most Cord Cutters Pay for Three or Fewer Streaming Services According to New Survey

Streaming tv and remote

So, Cord Cutters News decided to ask over 4,000 of our readers and, according to them, 79% of cord cutters pay for three or fewer services and almost 92% paid for four or fewer streaming services.

Here is the breakdown of how many services our readers pay for.

What is even more interesting to us is how over half of cord cutters pay for two or fewer streaming services.

There are already over 100 different streaming services available before new ones like Disney+ and HBO Max launch yet cord cutters still seem happy with three or fewer services. According to our survey, most cord cutters who plan to add a new service like Disney+ will likely drop something from their lineup.

It will be interesting to see in a year from now if this number will go up, but the majority of cord cutters are paying for three or fewer streaming services. For now, cord cutters are happy with a combination of paid and free services to get the shows and movies they want.
