MLB.TV is Now Available for the 2022 Season at 2021’s Price for a Limited Time

Major League Baseball’s lockout put the upcoming season in jeopardy, but after reaching an agreement, the league is offering fans a limited-time deal on its out-of-market game streaming service MLB.TV. Fans can subscribe to the 2022 edition of MLB.TV’s Yearly package for the promotional price of $129.99, which locks in the rate at 2021’s price.

MLB hasn’t stated when the promotional price will end, but the regular price of the service will be $139.99.  Like the Yearly package, the Single Team package has a $10 discount for a limited time. Right now, fans can subscribe to the Single Team package for $109.99 for the upcoming season, which is the same price as 2021, after the promotion ends the services will be $119.99. The MLB.TV promotion comes weeks after the league decided to not auto-renew 2021 subscriptions during the lockout after receiving pushback and criticism on social media.

Not only will fans be able to watch out-of-market live games or on-demand, but with the 2022 edition of MLB.TV, cord cutters can enjoy select 2022 Spring Training games, select pre and postgame coverage, and MLB Big Inning.

Like previous editions, blackout restrictions apply, and you cannot watch local market teams.  Find out which teams near you are subject to blackout by entering your zip code here.

Opening Day for the 2022 MLB regular season is set for Thursday, April 7 with the first pitch taking place at Yankee Stadium when the Boston Red Sox visit the New York Yankees at 1:05 p.m. ET.
