Fans of classic animation will soon have a reason to grab their pic-a-nic baskets. MeTV Toons is celebrating the 65th anniversary of The Yogi Bear Show with a full-day programming event dedicated to Jellystone’s most famous resident.
The special marathon is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, beginning at 6 a.m. ET, and will feature a mix of classic episodes, spinoff series, and full-length Yogi Bear movies spanning decades of Hanna-Barbera history.
A Full Day in Jellystone
The celebration kicks off with Yo Yogi!, the 1990s animated series that reimagines Yogi and his friends as teenage detectives. Two episodes – “To Tell The Truth, Forsooth / Of Meeces And Men” and “The Big Snoop” – open the lineup.
From there, the morning moves into Yogi’s space-themed adventures. Viewers will see episodes from Yogi’s Space Race and Yogi’s Galaxy Goof-Ups!, both of which follow Yogi and familiar characters as they explore intergalactic settings filled with comedic mishaps.
At 9 a.m. ET, the schedule shifts to feature-length programming with Yogi and the Invasion of the Space Bears, in which extraterrestrial visitors enlist Yogi and Boo Boo to help protect Earth.
Additional films continue throughout the day, including:
- 11 a.m. ET: Yogi’s Ark Lark, which follows Yogi and a group of Hanna-Barbera characters on an environmental mission
- 12 p.m. ET: Yogi’s Great Escape, a story centered on Jellystone Park facing closure
- 6 p.m. ET: Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear, featuring a rescue mission involving Cindy Bear

The block includes fan-favorite stories such as “Yogi’s Birthday Party,” along with several classic shorts featuring characters like Huckleberry Hound and Yakky Doodle.
