Mandalorian Reportedly Adds Jango Fett Actor Temuera Morrison to Season 2

The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter

Boba Fett? Where? Over on Disney+ being played by actor Temuera Morrison, according to reports. THR is reporting that Morrison, who played Boba Fett’s father Jango Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, is set to join The Mandalorian’s second season.

It’s reportedly not a huge role, and it shouldn’t be too big a stretch for Morrison, who’s portrayed both characters over the years in several video games. His voice was also added to the 2004 edition of The Empire Strikes Back, replacing Jason Wingreen’s original voicework.

Potential spoiler warning: Fett’s presence in The Mandalorian’s universe may or may not have already been teased in a season one episode featuring a mysterious figure bearing some of the bounty hunter’s trademark style. Still, it’ll be interesting to see how such a popular character fits within the show. And with season 2 aiming for an October release, we have just a little while longer to wait.
