So How Long Is the DIRECTV NOW $35 a Month 100 Channel Deal Good For?

Update: The $35 100 channel deal is now over.

One of the most common questions we get about the new DIRECTV NOW service is how long will the promotional deal be good for. A lot of readers are wondering if they should wait for the Roku Channel to be released early next year or should they get it now before the deal ends.
A lot of rumors have been floating around about DIRECTV NOW’s $35 a month for 100 channel deal. Rumors have been flying that it is ending at the end of 2016 or that it will last until sometime in March 2017.

First let’s break down the deal. At launch AT&T announced its DIRECTV NOW service would have a promotional sale. Typically its 100-channel package costs $60 a month, but for now you can get it for $35. If you sign up for the 100-channel $35 a month package you will be able to keep it for as long as you don’t cancel.

So how long do you get to sign up for the deal?

We don’t know and DIRECTV NOW is not helping but creating confusion. As there are rumors that it could end as soon as next week or as late as the end of March. Many have said to see @DIRECTVNOWHelp tweet that the deal is good till the of March, but we found tweets that contradict themselves from @DIRECTVNOWHelp:

Yet as soon as we get that tweet they send this post.

Our recommendation is if you really want it not to wait. It is likely that when the deal ends there will be no warning and one morning you will wake up and the deal will be gone. So make sure to take advantage of the deal before it is gone.
