The true crime network Law&Crime brings audiences closer to the action with the launch of its new YouTube channel, Law&Crime BodyCam.
The channel debuted on February 5 and hosts a collection of raw patrol footage showing some of the most shocking police encounters, such as a drunken mom on Mother’s Day, an intoxicated pregnant woman, and a lady who got wasted at an airport. The channel covers unruly DUI arrests, such as a woman with a kink for tasers and high-speed chases with somersaulting vehicles and a runaway school bus. It offers unique situations captured on body cameras, dash cams, security footage, and doorbell cameras.

As of Wednesday, Law&Crime BodyCam has three episodes. New videos will post every week. The network launched a dedicated body camera channel as footage draws in audiences fascinated with real-life, and often dangerous, police encounters with suspects. Audiences flock to Law&Crime’s body cam footage on its flagship channel, which averages 1.25 million viewers per video and garner 49.7 million views for a single video. Bodycam footage content brought 1.2 million new subscribers to the channel and ranks second only to the live coverage of the Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard trial.
Law&Crime was founded in 2015 by ABC News’ chief legal correspondent, Dan Abrams. He’s known for his many true crime series, including Dan Abrams Live on NewsNation, On Patrol: Live on Reelz, and The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law on SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. channel. Abrams also hosts Court Cam and Under Oath on A&E Networks.
The network is now run under Jellysmack’s umbrella, which acquired Law&Crime last October‘. Law&Crime has more than 5 million subscribers and 3 billion video views on its flagship YouTube channel.
