Paramount+ announced today that its original series Landman has been renewed for its third season. The announcement comes less than three weeks since the premiere of the second season on November 16.

Landman, from creator Taylor Sheridan, is a series set in the boomtowns of Texas, following the lives of roughnecks and billionaires in the world of oil. The series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and Sam Elliot. Additional cast includes Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.

The official description of the second season says: As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.

The season premiere reached over 9.2 million streaming views, a 262% increase from the Season 1 premiere episode, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+.

Three episodes of Season 2 are now streaming, with new episodes airing on Sundays. Watch the current season now on Paramount+.
