Today E.W. Scripps Co. announced that they are bringing a free version of Laff and Court TV to free ad-supported streaming services. We first reported that Plex added these channels last week, but now they are live on more services, including Fubo, Xumo LG Channels, and Amazon Freevee.

First up is Court TV Legendary Trials will show classic cases and court hearings from Court TV’s 30 years of archives. A greater way to catch up on old cases like Jeffrey Dahmer. You will be able to find Court TV Legendary Trials on Fubo, Amazon Freevee, Xumo Play, and Plex.

“People have flocked to our website to watch Court TV’s trial archive, and when we’ve posted clips on other digital platforms, including YouTube, they’ve watched in record numbers. In just the past year alone, Court TV more than doubled its hours of viewing on digital/streaming,” said Head of Court TV Ethan Nelson. “We anticipate that Court TV: Legendary Trials will be added to the must-watch lists of the enormous number of true crime fans.”

Laff More! will feature a huge collection of sitcoms targeting viewers from 18 to 49.

Sadly these won’t be the same feeds as you will get with Court TV and Laff from an antenna, but the feel of the channels will be similar.

Laff More! and Court TV Legacy join a growing number of free streaming channels from E.W. Scripps Co., including Grit, Ion, Court TV, Scripps News, and Bounce.

Here are all the channels added last week on Plex:

Once again, if you have not checked out free ad-supported streaming services, you should give them a second look. Increasingly free streaming services like Amazon’s Freevee, Plex, Pluto TV, Tubi, and more have increased the quality and selection of their content. So if you haven’t looked at them recently, you may want to give them a second try.

E. W. Scripps Co. is not the only company joining the free ad-supported bandwagon. Recently Warner Bros. Discovery brought a huge collection of their content to Tubi and The Roku Channel. PBS is also coming to Local Now. So make sure to give them a look and see what you have been missing out on these free ad-supported streaming services. They offer a huge collection of free movies and TV shows, plus live channels.
