King of the Hill Gets Renewed by Hulu Through Season 17

The show that told us “that boy ain’t right” is returning for at least three more seasons. Hank, Peggy, Bobby, and the whole Arlen crew are returning for King of the Hill seasons 15, 16, and 17 after it was announced on the show’s Facebook that the Hulu revival series has been greenlit for two more seasons.

The Mike Judge and Greg Daniels animated series, known for its dry, salty humor and suburban slices of life, had been off the air for 15 years before its Season 14 revival earlier this summer. The revival was a hit with viewers and re-ignited interest in the show’s back catalog of 259 episodes over 13 seasons.

Season 14 was able to capture steady audiences with new streamers and nostalgic viewers from the show’s built-in brand recognition. The 10-episode season was originally supposed to feature 20 episodes, but the other half is reportedly slated for next year’s Season 15.

With the exciting news of the extension through Season 17, aficionados of propane and propane accessories will be rewarded with more creative stories featuring the Arlen crew. Like the show’s original run, the revival features all the gags fans love and story beats of neighborhood politics, parenting, and the small ironies of American life, but with a modern touch.
