Jeff Foxworthy Heads to FOX Nation With New Stand-Up Special ‘The Joke’s On Me’

Jeff Foxworthy is heading back to the spotlight with a new comedy special, and FOX Nation subscribers won’t have to wait long to see it. The streaming service announced that The Joke’s On Me, a new stand-up and documentary-style special hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, will premiere Monday, June 1.

Filmed at the Gas South Theatre in Duluth, Georgia, the special blends fresh stand-up material with a more personal look behind the scenes. According to FOX Nation, The Joke’s On Me will explore Foxworthy’s life, career, and the process behind building his comedy, offering viewers more than just another stand-up performance.

FOX Nation President Lauren Petterson said the special highlights the comedian’s decades-long impact on audiences.

“Few performers have shaped American comedy quite like Jeff Foxworthy,” Petterson said in a statement. “This special captures the humor audiences have loved for decades while also reflecting on the moments, memories, and experiences that defined his extraordinary career.”

Foxworthy said the project gave him an opportunity to reveal a side of comedy audiences rarely see.

“Comedy has always been about finding the funny in everyday life, but people don’t always get to see the work and process behind it,” Foxworthy said. “I’m grateful to FOX Nation for understanding the vision I had for this special and giving me the chance to share that journey with the audience.”

The special includes new material centered on familiar themes for longtime fans, including family life, aging, and everyday experiences. Alongside the stand-up performance, viewers will also get documentary footage showing how jokes evolve from ideas into finished material on stage.

Foxworthy remains one of the biggest names in comedy. He is widely recognized for his “You might be a redneck” routines and has built a career that spans stand-up, television, books, and live touring. He co-created and starred in Blue Collar TV and helped launch the hugely successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside fellow comedians. His television work has also included hosting Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Bring the Funny, and The American Bible Challenge.

For cord cutters, the new special adds another exclusive title to FOX Nation’s growing library. The subscription streaming service offers more than 10,000 hours of content and is available through its app and across a wide range of platforms, including Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV, Prime Video, Samsung TVs, DIRECTV STREAM, YouTube TV, Sling TV, and more.

FOX Nation’s The Joke’s On Me premieres June 1. A teaser for the special is also available ahead of its release.
