Update: Hulu just clarified that the Fire TV beta invites is a closed beta test. Select Fire TV users will get a invite today.

Hulu’s live TV beta is its attempt to take on Sling TV, DIRECTV NOW, PlayStation Vue, and others. For $39.99 a month, you get full access to on-demand content plus over 50 live channels.

When Hulu first launched it only supported Xbox One, Apple TV, Android, iOS, and Chromecast. Today Hulu is adding support for the Fire TV and Fire Stick from Amazon.

Hulu has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that an email will be sent to beta testers today inviting them to try out the new Hulu beta live TV service and the new Hulu app on the Fire TV.

Hulu has also stated that support for Roku, PCs, and Macs will be coming at some future date. Hopefully Hulu rolls out support for these devices quickly.

Hulu’s live TV service is still in beta as Hulu finishes developing the service.; support for devices and even features in the app are still being developed. Recently Hulu announced a long list of changes to the Hulu app based on feedback from the beta users.
