Now that Hulu has put price changes into effect, the price of the basic Hulu subscription with ads is just $5.99/month. The cost of Hulu with Live TV is now set at $44.99/month after a 7 day free trial.

With YouTube TV’s own price hike, the cost of the live TV streaming service is now set at $49.99/month. YouTube doesn’t have multiple plan options to choose from. Before starting your monthly subscription, you can try it out with a 5 day free trial.

With a subscription to Hulu with Live TV, you’ll get 67 channels for $44.99, making the cost 67 cents per channel.

With YouTube TV, you’ll pay $49.99/month for 82 channels, bringing the cost to about 61 cents per channel.

Simultaneous Viewing

Hulu with Live TV allows you to watch on up to 2 screens at the same time. Recently, Hulu reduced the prices of their live TV add-ons, so now you can upgrade to Unlimited Screens for $9.99/month. With the Unlimited Screens add-on, you can also watch on up to 3 screens at once while on the go.

YouTube TV allows you to stream simultaneously on up to 3 devices. You can also create up to 6 profiles per account, making it easy for each member of the family to personalize their viewing experience with their favorite channels and content.

Cloud DVR

With Hulu with Live TV, you’ll get 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage. Again, with the recently reduced prices of live TV add-ons, you can upgrade to Enhanced Cloud DVR for $9.99/month. With that add-on, you’ll get 200 hours of storage, along with the ability to record multiple shows at once, fast forward, and watch recorded content anywhere.

A YouTube TV subscription comes with a Cloud DVR with unlimited storage. You can record shows simultaneously and watch from any of your devices.
