Hulu Now Has More Major Movies Than Netflix

For years Netflix and Epix had a deal that supplied Netflix with most of their major movies. Now Epix has jumped ship for Hulu and brought their huge library of content with them.

Now Hulu has access to content like Interstellar, RoboCop, Expendables 3, and The Wolf of Wall Street—all movies Netflix no longer has access to. Netflix does make an argument that if you want recent movies Hulu is a better option than Netflix.

This is one more point in Hulu’s war on Netflix. Just this year they have stolen several networks like Discovery and Nickelodeon. And with Epix jumping ship to join Hulu, there is a big hole in the Netflix lineup.

Netflix has not given up the fight and is aggressively buying content and making their own. Netflix originals are its core attempt to make sure they will have first-rate content even if other content owners are not willing to share their content with Netflix.

The new leadership at Hulu has made consistent efforts to not just be a second-rate streaming service but to become a leader in the battle for your online viewing.
