Hulu Is Now the Exclusive Streaming Home to TV Land’s New Drama “Younger”

Hulu is continuing its spending spree to get rights to anything and everything it can—from taking whole networks such as Discovery away from Netflix to getting rights to the hit ABC show “Blackish”—not to mention classics such as “The Golden Girls” and “Seinfeld” that now stream on Hulu.

Now Hulu has acquired rights to TV Land’s original drama “Younger.”

“Younger” comes from the creator of “Sex and the City,” Darren Star. The series stars two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor, Nico Tortorella, Peter Hermann, and Molly Bernard. It follows Liza, a 40-year-old woman who pretends to be 26 in order to get a job in the highly competitive world of publishing—and succeeds. On TV Land, viewership increased for each season of “Younger,” and the program has broken all channel records in terms of digital and on-demand consumption.

Once again Hulu is showing that it is committed to being the best possible streaming service possible—from new features and options such as its live TV beta to getting rights to some of the best shows available.

You can also find TV Land live on Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW if you would like a live feed of TV Land.
