Here is everything that is new & improved:
Apple TV Update:
- New: Shows and movies in the Expiring collection now display the exact expiration date. Think of it like a shelf life for your binge-watching.
- New: Countdown timer. Are you still there? A countdown timer lets you know how much time you have left to decide whether you want to Autoplay the next show, go back to browsing, or stick to your resolution of getting eight hours of sleep a day. Pick wisely.
- Improvement: We went from three to four columns in the Browse section of our app. The more the merrier!
- Fix: Playback of recorded content automatically starts from the beginning. Gone are the days when you scheduled a recording, tuned in 30 minutes into the game (still in progress), and be taken immediately to the live broadcast. No more spoilers!
Android Update Notes:
- New: Night gathers, and now your binge watching begins. Now you can add our Premium content add-ons (HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax) directly in-app.
- Improvement: Hulu on Android has been touched up. We added a coat of paint, scoured the floors, hung up new curtains… In a nutshell, our video player and show tiles look nicer now.
- Improvement: In certain scenarios, exiting the player would cause the app to crash. We’ve fixed that. We are now stable!
- Improvement: We took some etiquette classes. We will now give you detailed next steps to make sure you can continue watching Hulu.
iOS Update Notes:
