Hulu is Reportedly Now The Fastest-Growing Live TV Streaming Service

Back in August Disney made the claim that Hulu was the fastest growing live TV streaming services in the United States. Now we have some numbers from the research group MuffettNathanson that supports Disney’s claim.

MoffettNathanson reports that Hulu recently added over 400,000 new subscribers and now has 2.7 million subscribers. This not only makes Hulu the largest live TV streaming service but the fastest growing live TV streaming service in the United States.

Disney did announce that Hulu now has over 29 million subscribers, but Disney stopped reporting the exact number of live TV subscribers earlier this year. but we now  have multiple reports that put Hulu with live TV subscribers at or above what Sling TV recently reported, making it the largest live TV streaming service.

Hulu seems to have found great success in convincing its on-demand subscribers to switch over to the live TV version. Considering it comes bundled with the on-demand Hulu with live Tv stands out. The question now is with Hulu raising the price of the live TV service to $54.99 in December will this growth continue. Both Sling TV and YouTube TV are also seeing strong growth and are both within range of Hulu to easily jump up to be the largest live TV streaming service in the United States. For now, though the crown as the largest live TV streaming service seems to be Hulu’s and Hulu’s to lose. The question now is will they continue to grow or will someone jump Hulu to become the largest live TV streaming service in the United States.
