Hulu is Launching a New Live TV Add-ons

Today Hulu announced that they are launching a new live TV add-on for Entertainment channels. The new add-on will include DIY, Livetime Movies, FYI, the Cooking Channel, and CNBC World. This new add-on will cost $7.99 a month and the FYI and LIfetime Movies will be moving out of the core $39.99 Hulu with live TV plan.

Hulu is also launching a $4.99 per month, Español add-on offers round-the-clock access to live programming from top Spanish-language news and sports networks including ESPN Deportes, NBC Universo, CNN En Español and History Channel En Español.

Here is the email they are sending to subscribers:

Hi Luke,

As of October 30, we have moved FYI and Lifetime Movies from the Hulu with Live TV plan into an Entertainment Add-on alongside new channels DIY, the Cooking Channel, and CNBC World.

The new Entertainment Add-on will be available for an extra $7.99/month. As a valued subscriber, we’re giving you a one-month free trial of the Add-on.

On November 30, the Entertainment Add-on will automatically be removed from your account and you will not be charged for it. If you want to keep watching all the great shows and movies available with this Add-on, simply go to My Account and select the Entertainment Add-on to add it to your account after your free trial ends.
