Hulu is Introducing New Shows from Chrissy Teigen, Nicole Kidman, Kate McKinnon, and More

Today, Hulu announced a lineup of new content from some big names in entertainment.

In a partnership with Vox Media Studios, David Chang’s Majordomo Media, and Chrissy Teigen’s Suit & Thai Productions, we’ll see the start of Hulu Kitchen. This food-focused content will include celebrity chefs, home cooks, and household names.

The first show we’ll see in this new category will be David and Chrissy’s show Family Style, which will show how families and friends express their love through food. Later, we’ll see a documentary called Eater’s Guide To The World, from Vox Media’s food and travel channel Eater.

Following the success of Big Little Lies on HBO, Nicole Kidman and Emmy® Award-winning producer Bruna Papandrea will be bringing an adaptation of another Liane Moriarty book to the screen with Nine Perfect Strangers.

According to Hulu, this is the premise of the show:

The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (played by Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

We’ll also be seeing Kate McKinnon on the screen, playing notorious Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes. The limited series, called The Dropout, is inspired by the rise and fall of Holmes, as described in the ABC News podcast of the same name.
