Starting today, the new logo will be used on iOS devices and tvOS. The logo will start being used on other devices soon.
Hulu says that the change was made as “part of a newer and better Hulu experience.” In addition to the change in icon, Hulu has also darkened the background on their welcome screen. Bug fixes and accessibility improvements are also part of the update.
This update to Hulu’s design comes after a major update on Apple TV and Roku at the end of August. At that time, Hulu launched the new grid guide and updated how content is displayed for users. These changes made the app easier to navigate, highlighting featured content and recommended shows and movies, along with improving the search feature to more easily find content.
