Hulu is Adding the New Marquee Sports Network for Cord Cutters

Hulu LogoToday it was announced that Hulu will be adding the new Marquee Sports Network to its live TV service. This new regional sports network will air Cubs games starting this year. Hulu will now be the only option to stream Cubs games for many as Comcast who controls most of Chicago’s cable TV market will not offer the network as of right now.

“We are thrilled to partner with Hulu and add them to our growing list of over 30 affiliates who will carry the network,” Mike McCarthy, Marquee’s general manager, said in a news release.

Currently, the new Marquee Sports Network has deals with AT&T, RCN, and now Hulu. (As of right now, no word on AT&T TV NOW adding support for the Marquee Sports Network.) This means for Cubs fans who want to be a cord cutter, Hulu is as of right now their only option.

The Marquee Sports Network is a joint effort of the Cubs and the Sinclair Broadcast Group. According to reports, the network is still in talks with other services to add the new network before it goes live on February 22nd, 2020.
