Hulu Announced in July Plans to Add Over 4,000 New Episodes

Hulu has had a busy July starting with adding more locals to its live TV streaming service, but Hulu did not stop there. Over the course of the month Hulu announced several big plans to add over 4,000 episodes to its on-demand streaming services.

These deals will bring full seasons of classic and current shows such as “Full House,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “American Dad!,” “Step by Step,” and “Perfect Strangers” from Fox and Warner Bros. to Hulu.

The Warner Bros. Deal

In a new agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Hulu has acquired the exclusive, streaming, subscription video on-demand rights to all episodes of iconic series “Full House,” “Family Matters, Step by Step, Perfect Strangers,” and “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper.” The deal, including over 800 episodes, will mark the streaming SVOD debut of America’s favorite TGIF lineup from the 1990s.

The Fox Deal

Hulu and 20th Century Fox have agreed to expand their streaming video on-demand libraries with a new agreement that adds the complete libraries of top animated hits from the studio to Hulu. Starting today Hulu is the exclusive subscription video on-demand home to the full run of Emmy-winning comedyBob’s Burgers,” as well as home to all seasons of “The Cleveland Show. The deal will also bring hit shows including the complete library of “Futurama” and all past seasons of “American Dad!” to Hulu in the coming weeks according to a statement Hulu sent Cord Cutters News.

But it does not stop there. In a second deal, Hulu and Fox announced plans to add every episode of the following shows:

Hulu has not released exact dates for when all these shows will be added, but it is reported to be happening this year.
