Hulu with Live dropped Nexstar owned local channels back in October after the two companies were unable to make an agreement to continue their contract. Today, Nexstar announced that its ABC affiliate stations have been restored on the streaming service.

Along with the news of the local stations coming back to Hulu, Nexstar announced that WGN America will be added to Hulu with Live beginning January 19, 2021.

WGN America is Nexstar’s only wholly owned, national cable-originated television channel. The channel is home to NewsNation, a live nationwide newscast that airs every night at 8 pm ET. WGN America is also known for airing syndicated sitcoms during its daytime schedule, including Married…With ChildrenLast Man StandingBlue Bloods, and many more titles.

Nexstar announced earlier this month that the channel will be coming to YouTube TV as well.

“We are very pleased to reach an agreement with one of the country’s premier live TV streaming services and we’re looking forward to making our entertainment content and NewsNation available to 4 million new subscribers throughout the country,” said Sean Compton, President of the Networks Division of Nexstar Inc.
