With Election Day 2024 coming to an end, Vice President Kamala Harris will address the nation today and is expected to concede the 2024 presidential election to Donald Trump. The VP will address a crowd of supporters in Washington D.C. at her alma mater Howard University, according to a report from Reuters.
The AP called the race with Harris having 224 electoral votes to Trump’s 277. Last night Harris did not address her supporters at her watch party with her President Campaign Co-Chair Cedric Richmond stating, “We still have votes to count. We still have states that have not been called yet. We will continue overnight to fight to make sure that every vote is counted, that every voice has spoken. So, you won’t hear from the Vice President tonight, but you will hear from her tomorrow.”
