How to Watch Twitch on Roku

Late last year Amazon, the parent company behind Twitch, pulled the official Twitch app from Roku players. If you already had the Roku Twitch Channel installed you still have access to it, but Roku owners who didn’t no longer can access the official Twitch Roku Channel.

Amazon is starting to stream Thursday Night NFL football games for free on Twitch this year. (Note: This is limited to games that air on FOX this year.)

The good news is there are now multiple Roku Channels that will let you stream Twitch on your Roku.

Twitched Zero

Twitched Zero comes from Frozen Iron Software and is 100% free. Twitched Zero will allow you to login to your Twitched account and stream all your games. You can add Twitched Zero to your Roku HERE.

Twitched

This Roku Channel also comes from Frozen Iron Software and costs a one-time fee of $0.99 to buy. At the time of this post, it has 4.1 stars out of 361 ratings. I am not sure what you get from the $0.99 version, but if you are unhappy with Twitched Zero give this one a try. You can add it to your Roku HERE.

There you go. Two great options to stream Twitch on Roku after Amazon pulled their official Twitch Roku Channel.
