The life and career of NBA Hall of Famer Ervin ‘Magic’ Johnson will get a fully intimate look in They Call Me Magic, a four-part docuseries which will feature never-before-seen interviews with Magic, his family, and many important guests from Johnson’s life and career including his wife Cookie Johnson, son EJ, rival and friend Larry Birdy, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan, Jerry West, former President Obama, and more.
Directed by Rick Famuyiwa, the highly anticipated docu-series will give viewers more access to the NBA legend than ever before as it covers his career, his legacy in regards to HIV, community activism, and his successful entrepreneurship.
