Golf returns this weekend with one of the most anticipated team events of the year. The QBE Shootout is a 54-hole team event featuring 12 two-player teams competing in a different format each day. Day 1 will be a scramble format, Day 2 will showcase a modified alternate shot, and Day 3 will end the event with a better ball. The event will take place at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The event’s purse is 3.6 million and last year’s champions Harris English and Matt Kuchar make their return to defend their crown. The pair are attempting to continue their dominance by securing their 4th win overall, and for the third time in 6 years. They will be joined by some of the best golfers in the world including the pairing of LPGA Tour star Lexi Thompson and Bubba Watson. This will be the 5th time that Thompson has played in The Shootout. Other pairings for The Shootout include Jason Day/Marc Leishman, Max Homa/Kevin Kisner, and Sam Burns/Billy Horschel.
