The biggest night in celebrity golf is here, as The Match: Superstars is shaping up to be another star-studded event. Live from the Breakers Rees Jones Course at Breakers West Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, the two-night event will air live on TNT and simulstream on Max.
Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg, Charles Barkley, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Phelps, Nate Bargatze, Ken Griffey, Jr., and Blake Griffin are set to headline the event. The event will tee off with two matches of 2-vs.-2 scramble match play for Quarterfinals, with the following pairings:
- Wahlberg/Phelps vs. Bargatze/Griffin
- Murray/Gretzky vs. Barkley/Griffey
The event will wrap up with Semifinals and Finals in individual match play, where the champion will take home a $1 million prize.
TNT Sports and Inside the NBA Emmy Award-winners Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley will serve as host and analyst, respectively. This marks Johnson’s fifth time hosting the event and Barkley’s ninth appearance. They will be joined by Course Correspondent two-time Masters Champion Bubba Watson, Reporter Kathryn Tappen, and Analyst 2008 Masters Champion Trevor Immelman.
