How to Watch the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Without Cable

After a lackluster parade in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is back in (almost) full swing for 2021. Airing at 9 a.m in all time zones, the 95th Macy’s parade will take place today – Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25 – resuming its traditional 2.5 mile route along the streets of Manhattan, a big step up from last year’s trek of just one block.

This year, the event will also be live again, none of this pre-recorded editing to make a shorter, spectator-less parade look exciting. Crowds will be allowed to line the streets once more in this festive tradition that’s been going on for nearly a century.

This year, the giant balloon count will be back up to 15, with 28 floats, and 10 marching bands from high schools and colleges across the country.
