The 2022 Winter Olympic Games have finally arrived as the Opening Ceremony will be taking place in Beijing, China. The ceremony will be held at National Stadium, also known as “The Bird’s Nest” where some of the best athletes in the world will gather before competing through a full schedule of events.

Bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor and curler John Shuster were chosen by their teammates to be flag bearers for the U.S. during the ceremony. However, Meyers Taylor tested positive for COVID-19 and will be in isolation at her hotel, so speedskater Brittany Bowe, who was second in voting, will carry out the honor as flag bearer in her place.
