How to Watch the 2022 Men’s NIT Championship Game on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV & More on March 31

After a thrilling semifinals round, the 2022 Men’s National Invitation Tournament finals are set. Madison Square Garden will be the home of a matchup between #1 Texas A&M and #2 Xavier to crown the 84th NIT champion. Xavier is looking to secure their second NIT title in school history, while Texas A&M is hoping to lock up their first one.

Xavier’s road to the NIT finals began after they were eliminated by Butler from the Big East Conference Tournament – fittingly in Madison Square Garden. Now, the Muskateers went on a run through the NIT after defeating Cleveland St., Florida, Vanderbilt, and St. Bonaventure on their way back to MSG for a chance to secure their first NIT title since 1958.

Texas A&M’s road through the NIT includes double-digit wins over Alcorn, Oregon, Wake Forest, and Washington St. The Aggie finished their regular season 27-12 and 9-9 in SEC play,  but head coach Buzz Williams has led the team the farthest they’ve ever been in the NIT.
