How to Watch ‘South Park: Post Covid: Return of Covid’ on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV & More on December 16

After setting the record for the first day of streaming across all movie and series debuts to date on Paramount+, fans won’t have to wait long for the sequel to last month’s South Park: Post Covid. South Park and the streaming service have released an announcement, detailing the synopsis of the upcoming sequel South Park: Post Covid: Return of the Covid:

“If Stan, Kyle and Cartman could just work together, they could go back in time to make sure Covid never happened and save Kenny’s life. In SOUTH PARK: POST COVID: THE RETURN OF COVID, traveling back to the past seems to be the easy answer until they meet Victor Chaos.”

Post Covid has given the show a unique twist as fans get to see the South Park characters as adults since the series is set 40 years in the future. This will be the second special in the $900 million/6-year deal that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone signed with ViacomCBS earlier this year. The deal includes 14 new straight-to-streaming movies on Paramount+, and keeping Comedy Central as the home of new episodes of  South Park through 2027.

Created in 1997, South Park has become an iconic series. The show has won five Emmy Awards and a George Foster Peabody Award. As cable’s longest-running scripted series, the series will reach its 25th anniversary on August 13, 2022. Fans of the small fictional town in Colorado can find out how to watch South Park: Post Covid: Return of Covid below.
