How to Watch Selection Sunday 2021 on March 14

After canceling the 2020 tournament and playing a season that was like none other, March Madness is finally back. As the conference champions are being crowned this weekend, Sunday fans will finally know where their team will be seeded in this year’s tournament.

Selection Sunday will establish where teams will be placed in the tournament bracket as the NCAA prepares their bubble in Indiana. Gonzaga is expected to be the No. 1 overall seed because they are the only undefeated team in the country, and they’ve won the West Coast Conference tournament. Fittingly, if the Bulldogs are victorious in their next six contests, then they’ll be the first team to go undefeated and win the tournament since the 32-0 Indiana Hoosiers did it in 1975-76.

At the time of this writing, the following teams have won their conference tournaments and have secured an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament:  Liberty (Atlantic Sun), Winthrop (Big South Conference), Drexel (Colonial Athletic Association), Cleveland State (Horizon League), Loyola-Chicago (Missouri Valley Conference), Mount St. Mary’s (Northeast Conference), Morehead State (Ohio Valley Conference),  UNC Greensboro (Southern Conference), Oral Roberts (Summit League), Appalachian State (Sun Belt Conference), and Gonzaga (West Coast Conference).
