How to Watch Rams vs Packers on January 16, 2021

nfl

After a blowout against the NFC West champions during Super Wildcard Weekend, No.6 Los Angeles Rams (11-6) travel to the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field to take on No. 1 Green Bay Packers (13-3) in the Divisional Round.  Since the Packers are the top seed in the NFC, they were afforded a bye and are coming off of a week’s rest.

If both Quarterbacks are healthy enough to compete,  Aaron Rodgers vs. Jared Goff this will be the 7th time in NFL history where QBs from the same college have gone head-to-head in the postseason. Goff is coming off thumb surgery and didn’t play well in the Rams victory against the Seahawks. To make things tougher for LA, Aaron Rodgers is 4-2 at home as Packers starting QB.

Luckily for the Rams, there will be no fans allowed at Lambeau Field; however, fans and the rest of the world can learn how to watch Rams vs. Packers below.

When to watch Rams vs. Packers

Prediction: The former Cal Golden Bear continues to prove why he’s an all-time great.

Since entering the league in 2016, Goff has only played Rodgers and the Packers only once. In their 2018 contest, the Rams won by a score of 29-27 behind Goff’s 19-35, 295 yards, and 3 TDs. Goff has regressed since then and he hasn’t played well all season. On top of that, he’ll be 19 days removed from thumb surgery on his broken and dislocated right thumb. If LA decides to play backup John Wolford then his lack of experience may hurt them and he’s coming off of a neck injury against Seattle.

Since Quarterback is the most important position on the field, Aaron Rodgers has been playing out of his mind all season. So far, he’s a front-runner for MVP with nearly 4,300 yards passing, 70% completion rate, 48 TDs, and 5 INTs. He’s going against the top defense in the league; however, expect LA’s defense to not catch a break due to stalls by their offense. Packers will be headed to the NFC Championship Game after a 28-17 victory against the Rams.
