How to Watch NBC on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, iOS, & Android

NBC is the most popular local channel we get requests for. From Sunday night football to hit shows like the Blacklist NBC is one of the most popular networks out there. While, it is on some live TV streaming services, you will find many of the big ones such as PlayStation Vue, Hulu, and others do not have NBC.

So let’s take a look at how you can watch NBC on Roku, Fire TV, iOS, Android, Apple TV and more:

Streaming Options

If you want to stream NBC and can’t get it with an antenna PlayStation Vue, YouTube TV, Hulu, and DIRECTV NOW will all give you NBC but not in all markets. The good news is one or more is very likely to offer you, locals, including NBC.

Here is what each service costs:

Hulu starts at $44.99 and includes most locals. (If you already have Hulu On-Demand you can add Hulu Live TV for just $32.)

YouTube TV costs $49.99 a month and offers a 7-day free trial with NBC in most markets.

PlayStation Vue starts at $49.99 a month and offers a 5-day free trial and includes most locals.

fuboTV starts at $54.99 a month and includes a free 7-day trial and includes NBC in most areas.

AT&T TV NOW starts at $65 a month with locals in most areas and you can also get a 7-day free trial to test out the service before you pay.

My suggestion is to give them all a try and see which one is right for you.

Antennas

The best way for most Americans to access NBC is to get an antenna. Somewhere between 80% and 90% of Americans will get NBC for free with an antenna. An antenna really is a must-have for every cord cutter to at least look into. Not only will you get ABC, CBS. FOX, and NBC in many markets, but you will also find many more channels for free. Channels such as the CW, iON, Me TV, and many others are all free over the air for many Americans. From there you can use a device like a Tablo DVR to stream your antenna to your Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV.

If you want to see if you can get NBC or other locals where you live for free visit AntennaWeb.org. Just enter your address, and it will show you what you can get for free.

But sadly, many Americans live in an area that cannot get NBC. While the new over-the-air 3.0 standard is said to offer better reception for over-the-air TV, we are still a few years away from 3.0. But at least you do have other options.
