How to Watch ‘Metallica 40th Anniversary Live’ for Free on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV & More

After four decades in the music industry, legendary rock band Metallica will be performing in front of the world in one of the biggest live events of the year. Metallica 40th Anniversary Live is a 2-night event that will showcase the band performing their biggest hits in front of thousands of fans at the Chase Center, in San Francisco, California.

The Coda Collection will present the event, which will stream free via various Amazon platforms. Not only will Metallica fans be able to watch the band perform live, but the Coda Collection Channel will be available on Prime Video, which will feature films from SF Takeover Film Fest, including Cunning Stunts and Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México throughout the weekend.

Subscribers to Amazon Music Unlimited and Prime members will be able to rock out to the tunes from “The Metallica Takeover,” a guest-hosted station where members of the band provide insight behind the scenes of their music. Metallica members discuss the evolution of their music, set to a curated soundtrack featuring their biggest hits, fan favorites, and deep cuts.

Fans can tune into both nights of the Metallica 40th Anniversary Live on Friday, December 17, and Sunday, December 19 at 9 PM PT/ 12 AM ET on Prime Video, Amazon Music app, and the Amazon Music Twitch channel.
