How to Watch ESPN On Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV (May 2019 Update)

Now that ESPN’s streaming service ESPN+ has had time to build partnerships, develop its own content, and fine tune its features, it’s become an even better resource for cord cutting sports fans. Unfortunately, ESPN+ doesn’t have all of the ESPN content that some viewers are looking for.

The good news is you can watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and more without a cable TV subscription.

You’ll find ESPN on most live TV streaming services, including Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Hulu, YouTube TV, DIRECTV NOW and others. We’re looking at each of them, below.

Sling TV

Right now, Sling TV has a deal for 40% off its packages for the first three months, making Orange and Blue $15 each and the combination of the two just $25. Sling is also offering a 14 day free trial for a limited time.

ESPN comes with the Sling Orange package, as well as the Orange + Blue combo. For more ESPN content, you can add the Sports Extra add-on for $5/month. With that add-on, you’ll get ESPNNEWS, ESPNU, and SEC Network.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue starts at $44.99/month for the Access package. With that package, you’ll get the ESPN channel as well as ESPN 2. If you upgrade to the Core package (currently on sale for $39.99/month for the first 2 months) you’ll also get ESPN College Extra, ESPN News, and ESPN U.

Hulu with Live

Hulu with live TV has a lineup that includes ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN News, ESPN U, ESPN College Extra, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Goal Line. Hulu with live TV also makes it easy to choose your favorite sports teams and set up an automatic recording for all of their games. Hulu with live TV costs $44.99/month.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV costs $49.99/month and includes ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, ESPN News, and ESPN SEC. With Cloud DVR with unlimited storage, you can record all of your teams’ games. Your YouTube TV subscription also allows you to set up 6 profiles, so you can personalize yours to show you ESPN content front and center.

DIRECTV NOW

DIRECTV NOW has two package options to choose from. The Plus option costs $50/month and will give you ESPN and ESPN 2. You can also choose the Max package for $70/month. With that package you’ll get ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN News, and ESPN U. Right now, you can get $20 off of your first 3 months of DIRECTV NOW.
