How to Watch CBS on Roku, Fire TV, & Apple TV During The DIRECTV Blackout

Last week CBS was removed from DIRECTV in many major markets and all DIRECTV NOW markets. The good news is CBS is 100% free with an antenna but not for all Americans. Today we are going to take a look at different streaming services that off access to CBS streaming online.

How to Stream CBS on Roku, Fire TV, & Apple TV.

CBS All Access

CBS All Access gives you access to a huge catalog of CBS programming and in most areas a live feed of CBS. Starting at $5.99 after a 7-day free trial CBS All Access could be a great short term fix for subscribers who can’t get CBS right now. (Hopefully, the blackout ends before the 7-day free trial ends.)

Live TV Streaming Services

CBS also streams on many live TV streaming services including fuboTV, Hulu, YouTube TV, and PlayStation Vue. These services all offer CBS—but not in every market—so check their websites to see if they offer CBS in your area.

PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue also starts at $45 a month and gives you access to CBS.

Hulu

If you already pay for Hulu make sure to check out their new Hulu Live TV. They include CBS in most areas.

fuboTV

fuboTV includes access to CBS and a long list of other channels. Recently fuboTV just added Discovery Networks to their lineup.

YouTube TV

YouTube TV starts at $49.99 a month and includes CBS in most areas.

With an Antenna

One option you should always consider is using an antenna. CBS is free over the air in most parts of the United States. You can always use a device like a Tablo DVR or HDHomeRun to stream your antenna to a Roku, Fire TV, or Apple TV. Want to see if you can get CBS where you live free over the air? Check out Antenna Web to find out what you can get with an antenna where you live.
