How to Cut the Cord Without Spending Money

With cable companies gouging customers with hidden fees and service charges and streaming services raising their prices to keep up with content costs, is it possible to watch TV without breaking the bank? Absolutely.

While premium channels will come at a price, there are ways to cut the cord and still get plenty of content for free. Here’s how.

The first way to get content for free is by using an antenna. An antenna will give you access to live, local over the air channels, completely for free. Be sure to do some research to find the best option for your location and rescan for channels regularly to ensure that you’re getting as many channels as possible.

While there are many paid subscription services, there are also many free, ad-supported streaming services. If you don’t mind watching a few ads throughout your TV show or movie, these free services have extensive on-demand libraries and many have live channels as well.

These are just a few of our favorite free streaming services.

These are just a few of the options out there. Do you have one you would like to add to this list? Leave us a comment and let us know what you would add.
