How to Add the FOX NOW Channel on Roku after Roku Removes The Official Channel

Update: Since publishing this post, Roku has said that the private channel linked below will not work unless FOX and Roku can come to an agreement.

Yesterday, Roku sent a notice to users, letting them know that all FOX and FOX Sports channels would be removed today, January 31. You can read more about the notice, along with both Roku and FOX’s comments on the channel removal in this post.

Now, several of our readers who are Roku users have sent us this link to a FOXNOW private channel that allows access to the app.

Before adding a private channel, Roku does give the following warning:

THIS IS A NON-CERTIFIED CHANNEL. Roku requires all channels to abide by Roku’s terms and conditions, and to distribute only legal content. Roku does not test or review non-certified channels. You acknowledge you are accessing a non-certified channel that may include content that is offensive or inappropriate for some audiences. Moreover, if Roku determines that this channel violates copyright, contains illegal content, or otherwise violates Roku’s terms and conditions, then ROKU MAY REMOVE THIS CHANNEL WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE, AND YOUR ACCOUNT MAY BE BLOCKED FROM ADDING ANY OTHER NON-CERTIFIED CHANNELS.
