This was all confirmed this week when Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, speaking Monday at UBS’s Global Media and Communications Conference in New York said “We’re really excited about bringing some closure to the show for fans.”
For sometime after the revelations about Kevin Spacey came out the future of the show was in doubt and some had wondered if Netflix would just walk away from the project. Now the question is how will the show go forward and wrap up without their star.
According to several reports, Netflix is looking at killing off Kevin Spacey’s character and let his wife Claire Underwood resolve and wrap up the show in the sixth season. For now that that is all speculation.
