Hisense is Letting Consumers Try Its ULED and Laser TVs Risk Free for 100 Days

Hisense is rolling out a new offer to customers that allows them to purchase a Hisense TV and try it risk free for 100 days. This “No Regrets” campaign comes as a result of a survey conducted by the brand that found 80% of consumers want the ability to try a television at home before committing to a purchase.

Now, Hisense will let consumers try a select TVs, including the Hisense U800GR, U8G, U7G, U6G or L9G TV from a participating retailer for 100 days risk free to make sure they like it before committing to the purchase. The offer runs from September 9 through October 31, 2021.

The survey among 2,000 U.S. consumers revealed 67% value screen size above anything else when purchasing a new TV, followed by having a Smart TV platform (65%). The third priority among respondents was picture quality (61%).

Many consumers default to choosing the biggest name brand or highest-priced TV with the assumption that it will be the best quality. But  76% of consumers reported disappointment with a purchase they assumed would be the best due to high price, and 71% due to the assumption that the product would be the best due to a brand name.

The survey indicates that if there was a way to ensure high quality, 83% would be willing to purchase a product from an unfamiliar brand. And 78% have been pleasantly surprised at the high quality from a lesser known brand in the past with 76% saying the product felt superior to well-known brand names.

“Home entertainment has grown rapidly over the last few years, with many upgrading to larger TVs and the latest technology,” says David Gold, President of Hisense USA. “For many, television has become a gathering place for family and friends or a way to unwind after a long day. With a growing focus on screen size, picture quality, and smart capabilities, it makes sense to offer people the chance to experience our quality first-hand and feel confident in a purchase that is a central element of many homes. We know Hisense will live up to those expectations.”
